The Staff and Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County are proud to present their 30th Annual Bowl for Kids. We would like to extend an invitation for you to come join us on this great day full of fun, games, and laughter. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County began in 1973 and has been providing one-on-one and group mentoring programs to children throughout the County ever since. There are currently over 160 children in our programs, which now include Traditional Matching, In School Mentoring, Music Mentoring, Group Mentoring, and Go Girls, among others. The agency is currently experiencing some amazing growth, however, we receive no direct, sustainable government funding, so we work hard to remain financially able to continue providing our growing list of programs. Bowl for Kids is the agency’s largest fundraiser with 32% of our annual operating budget coming from this event. As such, we would appreciate your support. For those interested in supporting the agency there are a number of ways to do so, including: - Entering a team – round up friends, family, coworkers, and call our office. It’s a great time for a great cause!
- Making a donation – donate online, come by the office, pledge a bowler. Every dollar counts!
- Sponsoring a lane – for $100 your business name will be posted on a sign at all three bowling alleys. Over 500 bowlers see that you have supported a great cause.
